Last Thursday, July 11th, a thematic workshop of the European project EACN about robotics and artificial intelligence was held at the CEAGA headquarters.
The experts invited to this meeting were Cristina Blanco, from the company specializing in the production of Continental tires, and Carles Rellán, current manager of maintenance and facilities engineering at Nissan Barcelona. After its presentation, eight SMEs presented its collaboration initiatives in the framework of this project. Four of these proposals were presented by the Galician companies Marsan Transformaciones Superficiales, Industrias Proa and Inplasor Galicia.
Another of the activities planned within the project is the organization of ”Matchmaking” events so that SMEs have personalized meetings and can identify possibilities for collaboration.
The main objective of the European project EACN (European Automotive Cluster Network for Joint Industrial Modernization) is to support SMEs in their industrial modernization processes (in the areas of process virtualization, production process elasticity, robotics and artificial intelligence and skills) and promote possible joint projects.
