The RESIST Eurocluster, driven by CEAGA and four other European clusters, was launched in 2022 with the aim of supporting SMEs in the mobility, transport and automotive ecosystem in their digital and green transition, as well as increasing their level of resilience to market changes. To this end, it has mobilised over the last three years more than 1 million euros in cascading funds through different calls for grants. Eurocluster has granted 90 aids to SMEs through five calls for proposals: (1) Innovation; (2) Networking; (3) Internationalisation; (4) Training; (5) Coaching and mentoring services.
Within the framework of the call for innovation, 22 projects have been supported, 11 individual and 9 consortiums, focused on increasing the level of digitalization of SMEs, reducing the environmental impact of their production processes and implementing innovations related to renewable energies. The success of participation in the programme exhausted the planned funds of €800,000. In addition, 33 networking grants and 17 internationalisation grants were awarded, enabling SMEs to learn about other markets, establish alliances and generate business opportunities with strategic partners in other countries. Another 18 Europeans pymes were selected in the convocactories for formation and coaching services and mentoring to drive its digital and sustainable transformation.
The beneficiary SMEs in the innovation call were able to showcase their projects in a showcase organised within the framework of the BE5.0 Future Industries Fair, held in Mulhouse (France).
The RESIST Eurocluster was co-funded by the Single Market Programme (SMP COSME), through the European Commission’s call “Joint Cluster Initiatives (EUROCLUSTERS) for Europe’s recovery”.
