Exlabesa’s automotive division is characterised by its business model based on the vertical integration of the entire aluminium production process, which allows it to complete the entire aluminium cycle and achieve its objectives of sustainability and efficiency.

In Spain alone, the automotive division has 3 production centres (Valga, Padrón and Rois) and 10 logistics centres (Valga, Picaraña, Lugo, Valladolid, Madrid, Málaga, Murcia, Valencia, Tarragona, Barcelona), whose facilities exceed 150,000 m2. In general, Exlabesa employs 600 workers and provides services to more than 5,000 customers located in several European countries.

The business area is reinforced by an R&D department, which designs the product at the customer’s request and enables it to comply with the highest quality standards and the most demanding international regulations.

The main activity of Exlabesa's automotive division focuses on the manufacture, extrusion and processing of aluminium and its derivatives. The company offers high added value solutions, fully customised and environmentally friendly, ranging from the design and development of industrial components to their extrusion, lacquering, anodising, bending, machining, packaging, delivery and subsequent recycling of the profiles. As an example of a final piece, we manufacture:
- Components and battery boxes.
- Bumpers.
- Other structural components.

They manufacture the parts from the beginning, extruding the aluminium profile according to the customer's needs and machining the profile for final delivery. They manufacture both for final customers in the mobility sector and for intermediary customers with industrial profiles for multi-sector use for automotive or mobility components. Exlabesa's automotive division has 32 machining centres and 3 bending centres to give added value to the final part.
