CEAGA has launched a new collaborative project as part of its plan to help companies in the automotive and mobility ecosystem to optimize their energy consumption. This is the GOFLEXENERGY project, in which companies such as Adhex Tech Tapes, Denso Sistemas Térmicos and Recuperadora Gallega de Disolventes (Regadi) and other entities such as the Instituto Tecnológico de Galicia (ITG) and the energy suppliers Nexus Energía and Bamboo collaborate. In addition, it has the collaboration of the Digital Innovation Hub Industrial of Galicia (DIHGIGAL).
The main objective of the project is to enhance the energy flexibility of industrial processes and optimize the production of photovoltaic energy in companies through self-consumption. To this end, artificial intelligence is used to develop and adapt demand aggregation and flexibility management platforms. In addition, the feasibility of implementing virtual energy communities is being studied, so that companies can participate in the flexibility markets and validate new business models linked to energy sales.
With this project, CEAGA continues its commitment to innovation and collaboration to reduce the energy costs of the sector’s industries, researching new alternatives and promoting the digitalization of production processes.
