As every year, CEAGA has launched a new edition of the BenchManager project, a tool to carry out the generation of competitive positioning reports. This new edition, which was launched yesterday during the Excellence Commission, will allow companies to quantify the competitive situation compared to the rest of the companies in the Cluster, based on a set of indicators and best Lean and Industry 4.0 practices adapted to the needs and particularities of the sector. The confidentiality of the information is preserved.
Within the framework of this initiative, each of the participating companies will have a structured, individualized and valued report that analyzes the company’s competitive position in different areas such as logistics, quality and production.
Due to the differences between the processes and the realities of the large component manufacturers, the indicators analyzed have been selected with the aim that the results are truly comparable and adapted to the reality of the companies.
With 18 editions, the BenchManager project is highly consolidated among the Cluster companies and has a dual purpose:
– For companies, comparatively analyze their current situation and their evolution compared to other companies in the sector, detecting areas for improvement.
– For CEAGA, monitor the evolution of the Sector’s level of competitiveness.
As a complement to the BenchManager, the Collaboration Program is organized every year between the participating companies, for the exchange of good practices on the topics of greatest interest (continuous improvement, Industry 4.0, green factory, etc).
