CEAGA presented last week, in the auditorium of the School of Industrial Engineering of the University of Vigo, a pilot project to attract talent from universities and vocational training centers to the companies of the Automotive and Mobility Cluster of Galicia.
The Talent Race project seeks to connect the automotive and mobility industry with talent through the resolution of challenges, through a platform launched in collaboration with other national automotive clusters and funded by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism (Innovative Business Clusters program).
Through this platform, 14 CEAGA companies have presented real industry challenges for students to propose solutions, thus making themselves known in the automotive and mobility ecosystem, being able to share spaces with professionals, visit companies and access internship and employment opportunities.
This pilot phase is focused on university students in technical careers (in the final year of their degree or Master’s degree). An industry jury will analyze the students’ responses and the best entries will be eligible for the following prizes:
- Attendance at the CES Las Vegas international event, to be held from January 7-10, 2025, where the main innovations in the sector will be unveiled.
- Participation in the Advanced Program in Management, taught by the prestigious IE Business School and focused on the sector, to be held between September and December 2024.
- Attendance at the event to be held at the Montmeló circuit (Barcelona) on 25/10/24, where prototypes of racing teams will be exhibited and students and companies linked to the automotive world will gather.
Students from any Galician university can register on the platform: https://plataforma.ceaga.com and respond to the proposed challenges before July 10.
