CEAGA continues working to help SMEs in the automotive and mobility ecosystem to improve their competitiveness, becoming more resilient, sustainable and people-centered companies. To this end, it has joined 8 other European partners to drive the EU-funded BRIDGESMEs project. Over three years, the 9 partners collaborating in the project will work to drive the transition to Industry 5.0 in five industrial ecosystems: mobility, transport and automotive; aerospace and defense; electronics; cultural and creative industries; tourism.
The project aims to function as a bridge that connects traditional SMEs with startups and technology companies, offering opportunities for them to collaborate and jointly develop innovative and pioneering solutions in the market. To this end, different activities will be carried out to assess the main needs of SMEs in each ecosystem, events such as hackathons and matchmaking events will be organized to bring together technology supply and demand companies, and support services will be offered to accompany companies in their transition to Industry 5.0.
With this new project, CEAGA strengthens its position as a reference cluster in Europe, based, once again, on a model of collaboration with other clusters, entities and institutions to contribute to improving the competitiveness of Galician companies. Since the foundation of CEAGA, 10 European collaboration projects have been promoted, focused on different areas such as logistics, training and new professional profiles, industrial modernization, green and digital transition or energy efficiency.
